Zero Tolerance Rule
The Brewins Youth Hockey Association, Inc. (Brewins) will establish a discipline committee to investigate and conduct a hearing if appropriate, concerning any major incident involving a spectator or parent.
A major incident shall be defined as, but not limited to, the use of obscene or vulgar language, verbal; physical abuse, taunting of players, coaches, officials and throwing of objects in the viewing area, team benches, or ice surface, etc.
When a major incident on ice rink property used by the Brewins involving a parent or spectator is brought to our or conference attention by rink officials, ice officials, incident reports or other programs, the Brewins will have 48 hours to respond to the SSC with recommendation for discipline. The Brewins will identify everyone that was involved in the incident. The specific conference reserves the right to accept the Brewins recommendation for discipline or suspend all involved from Brewins activities until the incident is resolved. All parties involved shall attend any discipline hearing hosted by the Brewins or conference.
