Zero Tolerance Rule
 

 
The Brewins Youth Hockey Association, Inc. (Brewins) will establish a discipline committee to investigate and conduct a hearing if appropriate, concerning any major incident involving a spectator or parent. 
 
A major incident shall be defined as, but not limited to, the use of obscene or vulgar language, verbal; physical abuse, taunting of players, coaches, officials and throwing of objects in the viewing area, team benches, or ice surface, etc.
 
When a major incident on ice rink property used by the Brewins involving a parent or spectator is brought to our or conference attention by rink officials, ice officials, incident reports or other programs, the Brewins will have 48 hours to respond to the SSC with recommendation for discipline.  The Brewins will identify everyone that was involved in the incident.  The specific conference reserves the right to accept the Brewins recommendation for discipline or suspend all involved from Brewins activities until the incident is resolved.  All parties involved shall attend any discipline hearing hosted by the Brewins or conference.

G.O.A.L! Clinics

FREE  (Get Out And Learn) Clinics
September 11th @ 11:00 AM at the Alexio Rink in Taunton.

The Boston Bruins and FMC Ice Sports have come together to host G.O.A.L!

FREE skating and hockey instructional sessions. G.O.A.L! encourages kids ages 4 - 9, new to the sport of hockey, to try a free skating and hockey course, in a game based, fun environment. Blades and the Bruins youth hockey development team will be on-hand to assist new skaters. Skates, helmets and even hockey gear will be provided so kids can fully experience the sport of hockey free of charge. *Clinic dates vary per rink, please see brochure below for complete details.

    

The Brewins are excited to announce that they have entered into an agreement with FMC to utilize their Learn to Skate and Learn to Play Hockey (Bruins Fundamentals) programs for the 2010-11 season.

Before You Play Hockey,
You Must Learn to Skate!

Before learning the basic FUNdamentals of hockey, it’s important for every skater to learn the basic fundamentals of skating. For those of you brand new to the ice, a Learn to Skate class is a necessary step in the progression into our Bruins FUNdamentals program. Classes are available at the tot (3-6 yrs) and youth (7-12 yrs) age levels.

Bruins FUNdamentals

The Bruins Fundamentals program was initiated by FMC Ice Sports and the Boston Bruins as a way to introduce beginner skaters to the sport and help them prepare for entry into youth and organized hockey programs. The program’s goal is to teach the fundamentals of ice hockey through various drills, personalized instruction, and game simulation, while ensuring that each and every skater is having as much fun as possible!
